Main church
The Main Church: The church is right in the center of Oranjestad close to the Renaissance Resort. The church is built in 1950 and beautifully renovated in the early nineties by the late rev. Anthony van den Doel. The bell tower has been newly renovated in 2007. The church is famous for its beautiful interior and pipe organ. The location is ideal for ceremonies with a great group of guests and music performance.
Old church
This church built in 1846 is the oldest church building in Aruba. It is beautifully renovated and a very romantic spot. It is also located in the center of Oranjestad with the Civil Town Hall just on the other side of the street. An ideal location for a romantic wedding ceremony on a historic spot with a small group of guests.
Piedra Plat
This church was built in 1934 after the prior church building from 1899 collapsed during a storm in 1932. It is located in the middle of the island at a walking distance from the Hooiberg, the landmark hill that can be seen from almost everywhere on Aruba. The church has a seating capacity of 100.
Seroe Colorado
This church is located in the former Lago Colony. The church was built in 1939 as an interdenominational church. After Lago closed the church joined the Protestant church of Aruba. The location is absolutely ideal for a romantic wedding. If you not yet have decided whether you want to marry in a church or on the beach, this church, where you can see the Caribbean sea right from the altar is the ideal spot for you.
- Before coming to Aruba contact reverend Ernst Stutterheim or reverend Gary Dekker to arrange the wedding ceremony.
- The ceremony can be performed in one of the church buildings or on another location to be discussed with the pastor beforehand.
- The couple must meet with the pastor at least one day prior to the wedding ceremony.
- A copy of the official civil wedding certificate has to be shown to the reverend.
- Ceremonies can be performed irrespective of the denominational background of the couples.
- The ceremony fee includes a wedding certificate.
